The new Tunze Care Bacter contains bacteria on a stone powder substate from Maerl, which keep freshwater or saltwater aquariums clean. Care Bacter is an exceptional blend of bioactive filtering organisms which was specially formulated to effectively clean both sea and freshwater aquariums, and to ensure an optimal biological balance.
Care Bacter is an ideal supplement for technical installations such as aquarium filters or powerful skimmers. Especially in marine aquariums and with an efficient flow within the biotope, its effectiveness will be clearly evident very quickly. The same applies to older aquariums, which show a lack of bacterial flora and/or an accumulation of organic matter. Here, Care Bacter improves the biological function and significantly reduces algae and sediments.
Care Bacter consists of bacteria strains, which are neither genetically altered (EC directive 200054) nor a pathogen, and work together in combination extremely well and synergistically during the water purification.
Effect:
1. Various green algae and thread algae are greatly reduced, the algae of your aquarium disks are slowed down.
The introduced bacteria are in competition with the mentioned algae.
2. Nitrate and phosphate compounds are reduced.
The bacteria absorb nitrate and phosphate compounds as food and are absorbed by corals at the end of their lives or picked up by the skimmer or the filter.
3. Corals and fish are more vital.
The bacteria and the other ingredients supplement the defenses and reduce the risk of diseases, v.a. Vibrio infections.
4. The aquarium is much cleaner and organic deposits (Mulm) are significantly reduced because the bacteria can use the mulm as food.

Application:
For the first application, we recommend a so-called "shock vaccination" (measuring spoon included in the scope of delivery), which leads effectively and quickly to a desired positive result:
For aquariums of 500 to 1,000 liters: 10 ml per week (corresponds to 4 measuring spoons) over a period of 2 weeks.
For aquariums from 100 to 500 liters: 5 ml per week (corresponds to 2 measuring spoons) over a period of 2 weeks.
For aquariums from 30 to 100 liters: 2.5 ml per week (corresponds to 1 measuring spoon) over a period of 2 weeks.
During the dosage, we recommend temporarily stopping the existing mechanical filtration system and seawater skimming for 10 minutes and entering the dose directly into the aquarium biotope.
Normal dosage after the first vaccination:
For aquariums from 500 to 1000 liters: 2.5 ml per week (corresponds to 1 measuring spoon).
For aquariums from 30 to 500 liters: 1.25 ml per week (corresponds to 1/2 measuring spoon).
During the dosage, we recommend temporarily stopping the existing mechanical filtration system and seawater skimming for 10 minutes and entering the dose directly into the aquarium biotope.

However, due to some circumstances there might be chances that the courier company might take longer than usual to make their delivery. Customers will be advised of the contact info for them to contact the courier company to check on their delivery status.
The main courier company which we use is Airpak Express, however at time due to certain circumstances, we may use other courier company for example, poslaju, GDEX, ect to send your parcel.
2) Local shipment within Malaysia – East Malaysia / Singapore
Usually for East Malaysia ( Sabah , Sarawak ) and Singapore, the parcel will take longer about Two to Three day for it to arrived. However subject to clearance , it might take a day or two more before the parcel reach your doorstep. Customers is advise to check with the courier company with the tracking number provided for exact detail.
3) Small parcel – local shipment within Malaysia
For smaller items, in order to helps our customer save on the shipping charges, we offer local registered article postage by Airpak Express . A tracking number will also be provided to the customer to enable them to track their own parcel. Customer will receive both an email notification as well as a SMS notification on their registered phone on once their order has been shipped.
4) International Shipment – Worldwide
We can ship internationally worldwide, however as we are unable to provide shipping fees online for all of our products, please contact us under the contact us page with the items you are interested in for the shipping price quote .
If any of the country is not included in the checking out, please send us an email with the items that you are interested in buying , and we will check and advise you on the shipping accordingly.
5) Free Shipping promotion
For West Malaysia delivery, we offer free shipping for orders amount rm 500 & above and for East Malaysia and Singapore customers, Order amount RM 1000 & above. For Bulky or heavy items, for example ,salts, rocks, sands and chiller above 9kg, it will be using PosLaju Sea shipment for postage to East malaysia. For sea shipment, the estimate arrival time is about 30 day.
